Kostanay Region Prepares to Host
the Qostanai Dala Festivali Agrofestival
A spectacular celebration combining a large-scale ethno-cultural festival with a cutting-edge agricultural technology exhibition awaits the residents of Kostanay and neighboring regions on the eve of the 2026 harvest campaign.
From July 30 to August 1, the area near Kostanay will host the Qostanai Dala Festivali Agrofestival—a unique event bringing together innovative agribusiness and the rich cultural heritage of the Kazakh steppe.
The event is organized by the Akimat of Kostanay Region in partnership with EXPO TIME, Kazakhstan's leading organizer of international agricultural exhibitions and conferences.
The Agrofestival program will feature two major components. The first is the Jańa Dala / Green Day 2026 Field Demonstration Exhibition, showcasing advanced agricultural technologies, state-of-the-art machinery, and the latest achievements in crop and livestock production. The second is the Festival of Culture and Traditions, offering visitors a vibrant cultural experience with live musical performances, traditional games, an ethnographic village, and authentic Kazakh cuisine.
Bringing together agriculture, innovation, and culture, the Agrofestival will be attended by the Akim of Kostanay Region, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstani and international manufacturers and suppliers, farmers and agricultural professionals, representatives of research and educational institutions, development organizations and government agencies, as well as regional artists, performers, and cultural groups.
The Innovation section of the Jańa Dala / Green Day 2026 Field Demonstration Exhibition will showcase the latest agricultural machinery and technologies in action, including advanced farming equipment, unmanned aerial systems (drones), and other innovative solutions.
The Livestock and Agronomy section will feature pedigree livestock exhibitions, presentations of breeding achievements, and demonstration plots showcasing the latest crop varieties.
The business program will include conferences and expert panel discussions focusing on agricultural digitalization, veterinary biosecurity, and other key issues shaping the future of the industry.
Among the highlights of the Innovation program are:
- "Heaviest Bull of Kostanay Region" Competition;
- Live demonstrations of agricultural drones by SKYWORKER;
- SUV test drives and prize giveaways hosted by the Avtodom Group;
- The 2nd Republican Gathering of Veterinary Specialists from the northern regions of Kazakhstan;
- "One Village – One Product" Exhibition, showcasing a unique product created or produced by each participating village;
- Live soil cultivation demonstrations and crop breeding demonstration plots presented by the Karabalyk Agricultural Experimental Station;
- Official handover ceremony of "Esil" and CLAAS combines by KazAgroFinance JSC.
The Culture and Heritage program is designed to celebrate and promote Kazakhstan's rich cultural traditions through national games, live performances by musical ensembles and artists, gastronomic experiences, and a variety of large-scale outdoor events.
The program includes:
- Ethno Village – a traditional yurt village dedicated to the 90th Anniversary of Kostanay Region, featuring exhibitions presented by the region's districts and cities;
- Agro Fashion Week Qostanay – a showcase of the creative industry, combining contemporary fashion with national heritage through exclusive designer collections;
- QOSTANAI DALA GAMES – a sports festival featuring strength competitions, agriculture-themed family contests, and traditional Kazakh sports;
- Interactive family and children's entertainment zones with activities for different age groups, including craft games, the Wheel of Fortune Challenge, motorcycle assembly competitions, and the Big Races;
- Tourism Showcase, presenting the region's tourism potential, including resorts, nature reserves, health spas, wellness centers, holiday parks, and other tourist destinations;
- Presentation of agricultural education programs, offering visitors hands-on career exploration through masterclasses and practical demonstrations of agricultural professions.
The Qostanai Dala Festivali Agrofestival will take place from July 30 to August 1, 2026, at the Qazaq Tulpary LLP Demonstration Fields (Osinovka Village, Kostanay District, Kostanay Region, located 1 km from the city of Kostanay along the Auliekol Highway, opposite the "7 Mile" Motel).
The organizers invite agricultural producers, media representatives, and industry experts to take part in one of the most significant regional agricultural and cultural events of the summer of 2026.
